Abstract

Project-based teaching is one of the active teaching methods. It is one of the important methods to develop science competence, including inquiring competence about the natural environment around for students. In this article, author proposes a process of designing a learning project towards developing inquiring competence about the natural environment around for students in teaching Grade 5 Science. Also, this process has been applied in designing a learning project towards developing inquiring competence about the natural environment around for students in teaching lession: “Seedlings grow from seeds”, Grade 5 Science.
