Building a management model for developing teaching staff at vocational education institutions

Abstract

The article presents an overview of the theoretical basis for human resource development activities, the management and development of teaching resources at educational institutions and a model of basic functions of the management process (POLCI model). From there, we propose a model to apply POLCI in developing teaching staff at vocational education institutions with the aim of improving the quality and effectiveness of teaching staff development activities at educational institutions. vocational training aims to effectively complete vocational training goals in the 4.0 era. The proposed model includes 05 (five) elements: (1) Planning to develop the teaching staff; (2) Organize the process of developing teaching staff; (3) Direct the process of developing the teaching staff; (4) Evaluate the teaching staff; (5) Information in the process of managing and developing teaching staff.
