Developing a procedure for checking and adjusting the alignment of the ladder belt transmission with the SKF TMEB2 device

Abstract

Ladder belt drives are used a lot in industrial machinery. However, when installing, it is nec-essary to align to ensure flatness so that the belt transmission can work stably and increase the life of the machine. To solve the problem of non-coplanarity of belt drives, especially ladder belt drives, SKF's TMEB2 device now allows us to quickly check and detect deviations of belt drives. From there, there is a reasonable adjustment plan to shorten machine downtime for maintenance.
