Measures to strengthen and improve English grammar for non-English major students at Hoa Binh College of Education

Abstract

Teaching English grammar no longer follows word type and sentence analysis like the old method, but follows a communicative method that mostly involves practicing grammar exercises, often combined with practicing vocabulary skills. Listening - speaking - reading - writing skills and lesson content knowledge are reinforced with games. Grammar teaching is through exercises combined with teaching many different language skills.
