Abstract

The representation competency is one of the important competencies that students need to acquire after the learning process. Chemistry exercises are both the content, methods and goals of teaching. Chemistry exercises meet the increasing needs of the teaching chemistry. However, building and using exercises to develop the ability to apply knowledge and skills still poses many challenges for high school teachers. This article introduces teaching using chemistry exercises on the topic of chemical equilibrium - grade 11 in order to develop students’competency representation. Experimental results at two high schools in Phu Tho Town - Phu Tho and Bai Chay High School - Quang Ninh show that teaching using chemistry exercises has developed students’competency representation.
