Gender, age, and seniority affecting the emotional intelligence of investigators at the Department of Public Security under the Ministry of Public Security

Abstract

An investigator's emotional intelligence is influenced by many different factors, such as physical, psychological attributes, working environment, education, nature of activities... Each factor has an impact in different aspects. One of the factors that affect an investigator's emotional intelligence is subjective: gender, age and seniority. Recognizing and evaluating the influence of these factors is important to have a correct assessment of the investigator's emotional intelligence.
