Abstract

Although teachers and students agree that applied grammar is helpful in providing students with a solid basis for language learning as well as in helping them build deep specializations, the intricate rules of grammar make it difficult to apply appropriately in certain contexts. As a result, students’ perspectives and emotions around studying grammar will change. The complicated feelings may result in poor language acquisition if educators and learners are unable to solve the problem together. The aim of the article is to examine the attitudes of English-majored students at Banking Academy of Vietnam in order to identify appropriate strategies for improving students’ learning.
