Storytelling plays an important role in Vietnamese language, especially in fourth grade Vietnamese language courses. Telling stories is crucial for cultivating students’ overall skills and qualities; The ability to stimulate analytical thinking, summarize, express, and expand vocabulary. Through the story, children have gained an understanding of the world around them, gained more experience and life capital, and established their own attitudes towards life. Therefore, developing language skills, especially in speaking and listening through storytelling, is necessary and important to meet the requirements of the new curriculum.
