Abstract

The Iliad by is a majestic song about the Trojan War that faithfully recreates ancient battle with vivid images of the glorious victories of heroes on both Greek and Trojạn sides. Hector in The Iliad is the perfect hero with noble qualities: a brave general protecting the city, a filial son, a loyal brother, a husband who loves his wife, and a father who loves his children. He is one of the typical images of heroism of the Homer era.
