Applying listening teaching strategies to improve learners’ English listening skills

Abstract
Listening is one of the difficult skills that many students feel they need to improve. They find it hard to use this English skill not only in the classroom but also in their everyday life. Therefore, teaching listening skills also poses a lot of challenges for teachers because it is probably a language skill that is difficult to learn, to teach, and to evaluate. This article introduces listening teaching strategies and proposes effective listening teaching activities to help teachers and learners overcome the above problems.
