Abstract

Vietnamese is an isolating language, with a relatively large number of vowels and consonants, especially the tonal system that creates its own characteristics. These are also relative big barriers for foreign students when starting to learn Vietnamese. This article proposes how to help these learners access the Vietnamese phonetic system in the most effective way, improving the effectiveness of their learning Vietnamese in order to promote creative capacity as well as the ability to access the target language in the fastest and most scientific way.
