Abstract

Assessing learners is a crucial aspect of teaching and learning, especially in the field of foreign languages. This article will discuss the current status and prospects of learner assessment methods in foreign language classes at some universities in Vietnam. By analyzing data from various sources and conducting interviews with instructors, the paper will address common assessment methods, challenges faced by both instructors and students, as well as prospects and proposals for improving the learner assessment system.
