Abstract

For children aged 4-5, this is an important stage for language development, especially coherent language. Creative storytelling activities not only develop linguistic thinking but also form cultural communication skills. Developing coherent language requires a lot of time as well as regular innovation in teachers' teaching methods. Therefore, this article focuses on proposing two main measures to develop coherent language for children aged 4-5 through picture storytelling activities with the book model: experience-oriented storytelling and story-based storytelling with STEAM orientation.
