Abstract

The creative storytelling activity is one of the effective methods of language development for 5-6 years old children, having important significance in forming and expanding vocabulary; expressing emotional speech skills; boldness, confidence and culture in communication. Creative storytelling with the folk paintings has been used quite commonly in educational practice. However, educational institutions are still confused about how to apply this more creatively and interestingly. In this article, we focus on developing some more specific, diverse, effective and attractive measures to develop language for 5-6 years old children through creative storytelling with folk painting genres.
