Abstract

Reading informational text is a compulsory content in practicing reading comprehension skills of the 2018 general education program in general and Literature 7 in particular. The addition and development of teaching content Reading informational text into the program not only contributes to improve knowledge and skills, develop educational thinking but also train learners’ personality and develop themselves. On the basis of a combination of theoretical and practical research methods, case study methods, assessment methods; our research team focused on using Gradual release of responsibility model (GRR) to analyze the content of reading informational text in the program and Vietnamese textbooks, especially for Literature (Connecting knowledge with life), in which reading activities as well as designing reading forms for students contribute to clarify the educational orientation of informational text reading instruction in Vietnamese schools in the coming time.
