Solution to improve Email writing skills in English for students in intensive English classes at Dong Thap University

Abstract

Writing is one of the four compulsory test papers in today Vietnamese Standardized Test of English (VSTEP) but writing skill has been considered as the most difficult skill among Vietnamese learners of English. This article provides some essential orientations to students in General English 1, 2 in Dong Thap University with an aim to help these students learn writing skills better, especially writing email, thus contributing to the improvement of the university’s training quality.
