Abstract

More and more parents and educators have been interested in small children’s learning English because it is an essential beginning for their future effective learning and using English. This paper aims to investigate small children’s learning English at a rural primary school in the Mekong Delta. The classroom observation and extra English lessons were conducted to obtain data on the issue. The results show that the students like games, singing along and can imitate the teacher’s pronunciation rather well; generally, most of the students are active to participate into the activities.
