Applying Kagan learning structure in cooperative teaching to develop Russian speaking skills at the early stages

Abstract
The learning structures proposed by pedagogue S. Kagan can be applied in collaborative teaching to develop Russian speaking skills for learners right from the early stages. By using the document research method and describing the characteristics and ways of applying Kagan’s learning structures in teaching Russian speaking skills, this study helps show the appropriateness of these learning structures for students studying Russian language at the Military Technical Academy and proposing ways to apply them in organizing teaching activities according to some sample knowledge and communication topics in the early stages.
