Abstract
The article focuses on the research and development of professional teaching capacities for ethnic minority students at universities in the mountainous regions of Northern Vietnam by developing an open-ended educational program. This includes adding elective courses and specialized topics for ethnic minority students, creating educational materials, developing lecture outlines, organizing professional experiential activities, and evaluating learning outcomes based on outcome standards and aligned with the characteristics of ethnic minority students.
