Applying the inquiry-based teaching model in STEM/STEAM education for preschool children in Binh Duong province

This article examines the theoretical background and practical application of integrating the Inquiry teaching model (ITM) into STEM education for preschool children. A mixed research method was employed, through interviews with 6 management officials and a survey using questionnaires with 85 preschool teachers from 9 preschools in Binh Duong province to evaluate the feasibility of implementation and to assess the difficulties and needs of preschool teachers. Based on this, the authors propose steps for applying ITM in STEM/STEAM education for preschool children to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process in STEM/STEAM for preschoolers.
