Foreign languages are one of the top criteria of the community and contribute to the success of organizations and individuals. In fact, Vietnamese students in general, and students of Lac Hong University in particular, have spent a lot of time, effort and money to learn foreign languages to achieve effectiveness in learning foreign languages, specifically English.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is booming and has the potential to change all aspects of human life. The rapid change and improvement of artificial intelligence has contributed to making human life more civilized and integrated. In education, AI is creating new teaching and learning methods that contribute to the teaching and learning process of lecturers and students. In particular, artificial intelligence has affected a significant part of the ability to self-study and the process of acquiring new knowledge in foreign language subjects, especially is English. This research paper will focus on surveying and pointing out the effects that AI tools bring to the self-learning of English of English Language students, Lac Hong University. self-study English effectively.
