ABSTRACT
The article introduces some of the requirements of teachers in assessing students’ competency under the
new high school curriculum, one of the important requirements is designing the assessment tools. The article
introduces some contents that need to be fostered for teachers to improve their capacity in designing student
assessment tools in teaching Math. On that basis, it is possible to foster teachers to design tools to assess
students’ competency in other subjects.
