ABSTRACT
Vietnam’s new general education program in 2018, focusing on practical ability and applying knowledge
into practice. However, the basic weakness of Vietnamese students is the translation of problems in real
contexts into scientific language to solve problems. The article proposes and discusses to develop the ability
to model with equations and inequalities for students with the support of online graphing calculator Desmos
software.
