ABSTRACT
Control of Direct Current (DC) motors is a common problem in most factories, enterprises, cars, lifting-
equipments... and is a classic problem in electrical engineering. The establishment and simulation of control
systems often use Matlab-Simulink because of its flexibility in the control systems. However, nowadays the
control systems require monitoring and controlling via computer. In this paper, the author presents the use
of Labview software to simulate DC motor control systems by using PI controllers. The simulation results
show that LabVIEW not only has the control and monitoring functions in real-time but also ensures the
requirements of the control problem.
