Abstract: The article outlines the benefits and difficulties, as well as the procedure of using the Problem Solving Teaching Method in teaching in general, and in foreign language teaching in particular, with the aim of helping teachers create the situations, instruct students to discover and solve the problems in a self-directing, active, proactive, creative way and thereby obtain knowledge, practice skills in the accordance with achieving the designed educational goals.
