On the basis of determining the current status of Vietnamese writing skills of Laotian students at Ha Long University, the article proposes measures aiming at overcoming the shortcomings and limitations of the program, materials for teaching Vietnamese writing skills, improving the teaching capacity of Vietnamese writing skills for teachers, improving Vietnamese writing skills for Laotian students... in order to contribute to improving Vietnamese writing skills in particular, improving the quality of Vietnamese language training at Ha Long University in general.
