The sea and islands are an important part of the country’s territory and each individual has the responsibility to preserve and protect that sacred sovereignty. Therefore, the education of awareness and responsibility for students from the time they are still in school should be focused and enhanced. In particular, in the provinces with sea and islands adjacent to neighboring countries such as Kien Giang province, which suffered major attacks during the war of aggression caused by Democratic Cambodia in 1975. Therefore, seriously, this need to be strengthened in the local history curriculum to help students improve their understanding, foster love and responsibility for the sacred sovereignty of the country
