The current state of self-study activities of students of the Department of Physical Education at Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports is still formal and confrontational. This article analyzes the current situation and factors affecting the self-study and self-research capacity of students of the physical education department at Da Nang University of Sports and Physical Education. From there, recommendations are made to improve students’ self-study and self-research capacity.
