Assessing the load-bearing capacity of construction pile foundation using 3D finite element analysis software

Abstract

This article investigates the capability to assess the load-bearing capacity of pile foundations from various perspectives considering the influence of the spacing between piles, the number of piles, and the length of piles on the load-bearing capacity of a pile group, taking into account the group effect under specific geological conditions, through the utilization of Plaxis 3D Foundation software.
