Abstract

Clean water supply plants often have special structures when the width is narrow, contrary to the large length. Thus, to implement the project, the investor needs to build a Status Quo Map of the factory area, using different measurement methods. With the condition of the linear terrain, undirected, divided-topography, the measurement and construction of the map must use GPS technology. In this article, the author applies GPS technology to establish an IV-class grid control serving the construction of the 1:500 scale status quo map of the investment project of clean water supply plant Hong river - Vinh Phuc. The use of GPS technology to establish an IV-class is appropriate, economical, time-saving, and ensures accuracy.
