Study on the stress - strain of pile foundation by 3D finite element

Abstract

This study uses 3D finite element method to analyze stress and strain of reinforced concrete pile foundation for civil constructions. The simulation results show that the reinforced concrete pile foundation has a foundation plane of size 2.0m x 2.0m on 4 piles with a cross section of 0.3m x 0.3m, a length of 12m, subjected to a concentrated load of 1000kN at the center, resulting in a settlement of 20.24mm.
