Proposal of social housing model from apartment samples

Abstract

Social housing development depends on many factors in different fields, in which the design stage is one of the important factors that help the type of social housing suit the conditions in Vietnam. The current way of designing social housing seems to stop at downsizing commercial apartments. This missed many inadequacies in practice. Therefore, the social housing model still needs to be built with its own perspectives, principles and solutions. A model that not only meets the requirements for housing quality but also has the ability to be assembled for mass production and reduce costs needs to be researched and proposed.
