Solutions for planning and developing VietNam’s large islands for sustainable developmend, ensuring national defense, security

Abstract

This article aims to address the question of whether landscape architecture should be organized on Vietnamese islands with a focus on developing tourism in conjunction with national security and defense. Considering the current complex developments in the East Sea, it is essential to integrate island tourism development with national security and defense. In practice, the integration of these two areas has been implemented and has achieved certain results; however, in some places and at some times, the effectiveness of this integration remains limited. This forms the basis for research to propose suitable solutions for organizing landscape architecture to promote tourism development while ensuring national security and defense on Vietnamese islands.
