Overview study about method for evaluate the decrease of strength and treatment solutions for base, subbase and subgrade of airport rigid pavement under adverse conditions in Vietnam

Abstract

The article provides an overview study about base, subbase and subgrade of airport rigid pavements, showing that under the effect of aircraft load and adverse conditions at airports, causes structural damage to the airport rigid pavement, causing the decrease of strength of the pavement structure. This problem requires research about methods to evaluate the decrease of strength and treatment solutions for base, subbase and subgrade of airport rigid pavements under adverse conditions in Vietnam.
