A research on factors contributing to urban attractiveness: a case study of Ho Chi Minh City
Abstract
A city's attractiveness is influenced by many other aspects in addition to its physical look. Previous research has developed a thorough conceptual framework for the elements that influence urban attractiveness. This study uses the theory of environment behavior studies to look at how people perceive these aspects, and it comes up with 94 elements in 22 categories that make metropolitan settings appealing to different types of people. These findings provide concrete proof that Ho Chi Minh City's attraction is not fundamentally separated from urbanization. With a focus on Ho Chi Minh City specifically, the inquiry offers recommendations for designers, legislators, and urban planners on how to enhance the allure of metropolitan environments.
