Method for controlling the stability of truck cranes

Abstract

Nowadays, cranes are widely used in various fields of civil and industrial construction. Ensuring the stability of cranes during operation is a critical technical requirement. This paper analyzes the displacement of the center of mass in the crane system, the reaction forces of the outrigger system, the stabilizing moments, and the overturning factors affecting the crane. Furthermore, the paper proposes a stability control method for truck cranes, enabling active maintenance of stability during operation. This solution helps minimize the impact of dynamic loads on the crane's stability while maintaining the machine's productivity.
