Organization of agricultural landscape architecture in Da Lat city
Abstract
Da Lat, with its natural advantages and favorable climate, has been experiencing rapid development, especially in agriculture and tourism. High-tech agriculture, particularly greenhouse farming, has brought significant economic benefits to local farmers but has also caused numerous environmental issues. Pollutions, negative impacts on climate, landscape, and human health have prompted Da Lat city to strengthen planning and control over the growth of agricultural greenhouses. Beyond communication, legal, and regulatory measures, research aimed at developing specific spatial planning solutions should be conducted concurrently. Globally, there has been a surge in vertical agriculture, which prioritizes both yield and sustainability. This study delves into theories, rationales, and real-world cases, combined with Da Lat's specific conditions, to propose suitable architectural and landscape solutions for the sustainable development of Da Lat's agriculture.
