Non-fired earth brick in Housing construction for Ethnic minorities in the Northern mountainous Areas
Abstract
Non-fired earth bricks, made from abundant hillside soil (which is unsuitable for cultivation) in mountainous areas, provide a solution to the challenges of transporting building materials. This paper discusses issues related to the research and production of nonfired earth bricks in the laboratory, as well as the transfer of technology for manufacturing these bricks and using them for housing construction for ethnic minorities in several northern mountainous regions. Based on research results and practical applications, non-fired earth bricks prove to be a suitable material for building homes for ethnic minorities in remote northern mountainous areas, with the goal of promoting sustainable housing development for these communities
