The current situation and propose a model of the social housing management database system in Vietnam

Abstract

ABTRACT:
Affordable housing development has become the top social urgent need in the context of rapid urbanization and increasing income gap in urban areas, particularly in big cities of Vietnam. So far, Vietnam has not established its affordable housing database management system. The management, operation, renting and leasing of affordable houses are mainly on document basis, which neither aligns with the digitalization orientation of the Government of Vietnam nor meets the actual demands. By analyzing and consolidating information and data on the current status of affordable housing sector, this article identifies constraints in the current sector management in Vietnam and proposes the suitable model for affordable housing database management system in the country.
