Adjacent houses have become quite popular in urban areas throughout the country, many housing projects have been built to meet the housing needs of people in urban areas, the area of land for construction is decreasing. Vinh Long city is also one of the cities where many houses are built. Previously, the foundation reinforcement of these buildings was mainly using timber piles. However, timber piles are increasingly rare, so today to reinforce the foundation for houses built in the Vinh Long city, prestressed reinforced concrete piles are usually used, with prefabricated small cross section, piles are manufactured at An Giang concrete structure factory. The actual construction of reinforced concrete piles of small cross section in the current construction conditions in Vinh Long City faces many difficulties. In this paper, the author presents the difficulties in the construction of small cross-section piles for 1 to 5- storey adjacent houses in Vinh Long city. In order to provide solutions to overcome difficulties for the adjacent houses be effective.
