Research on the effect of soil surface hardness on pressure of shock waves on the ground by using Abaqus software

Abstract

The paper presents the formation and propagation of shock waves when exploding in air. Method of determining incident wave pressure, reflected wave and surface wave when the shock wave is in contact with the ground and research results using Abaqus software on the influence of soil surface hardness on reflected wave pressure and surface waves on the ground. From there,
recommendations are made on the calculation of reflected wave pressure and surface wave when considering the stiffness of the ground.
