Research on residential satisfaction in resettlement in projects of rebuilding old apartment in Hanoi

Abstract

Research on the satisfaction of people's housing for resettlement plays an important role in planning and adjusting relevant housing policies. This paper aims to determine these factors affecting housing satisfaction of people in reconstruction projects of old apartment buildings in Hanoi city. Survey data is collected from 663 people living in resettlement apartments that have been handed over after rebuilding. The results show that there are 07 main factors affecting housing satisfaction of people in the study area, which are: (1) Design of apartments; (2) Service of management and operation of resettlement building; (3) Interior and exterior housing features; (4) Participation in the project implementation process; (5) Apartment area; (6) Social environment; (7) Accessibility.
