Abstract

Construction supervision is important in the successful completion of a construction project. The supervisory specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently and within budget and schedule. They also act as liaisons between construction workers and management, coordinating resources and communicating project updates. Awareness of the role of the construction supervisor is very important for all parties involved in a construction project, as it ensures that everyone is working towards a common goal and project. success. Through assessing the perception of experts about the role and "effect when performing the task" of the supervisor on the quality of construction works, ranked through the average score on the Liker scale. The results of the study show that there are two notable perceived problems: Monitoring has an effect on the quality of the work by eliminating rework; and the impact of monitoring through inspections, material inspections and subcontractor evaluations are being overlooked in practice.
