THE IMPACT OF AI, BLOCKCHAIN, SMART CONTRACTS, AND CRYPTOCURRENCY ON THE LEGAL PROFESSION AND LEGAL EDUCATION GLOBALLY AND IN VIETNAM

Abstract

The article analyzes, evaluates, and gives opinions and comments on the 4 most powerful technologies today: AI technology, Blockchain technology, Smart Contracts, and Cryptocurrency, and their impacts and influences on the legal profession in the world and Vietnam today. Based on the analysis and synthesis of the multi-dimensional impacts of the applications of AI technology, Blockchain technology, Smart Contract, and Cryptocurrency mentioned above in approaching and handling legal issues, especially their effects on how AI legal tool applications (artificial intelligence legal technology tools) change traditional legal principles, principles, and policies? From there, the article proposes some comments and suggested solutions for current legal training in Vietnam in general and for Thu Dau Mot University in particular. What changes in new training strategy thinking need to be noted to limit challenges and seize new opportunities?
