DEVELOPING MATHEMATICAL PROBLEM SOLVING CAPACITY FOR GRADE 12 STUDENTS THROUGH TEACHING SOLVING EXERCISES TOPIC "AREA OF PLANE FIGURES"

Abstract

Mathematical problem solving capacity is one of the five important capacities that students at all levels need to achieve according to the General Education Mathematics Program of the Ministry of Education and Training issued in 2018. There are many methods proposed to develop mathematical problem solving capacity for students in teaching mathematics in many studies. This article discusses the manifestation, processes and teaching methods towards developing mathematical problem solving capacity for 12^th grade students through teaching and solving exercises on the topic “Area of plane figures”.
