RISK ASSESSMENT OF MICROBIOLOGY POLLUTION FROM WASTE WATER IN INDUSTRIAL ZONES IN DONG NAI PROVINCE

Abstract

This work was designed to assess environmental and healthy risks from industrial zones in Bien Hoa City, Nhon Trach district, Long Thanh district. Methods of environmental risk assessment and healthy risk assessment were used to determine the degree of risk. The results of the study showed that a few wastewater treatment systems having Coliform parameters exceeded highly the national standard like Tam Phuoc Industrial Park, Loc An – Binh Son Industrial Park, Lotec Industrial Park and Nhon Trach 2 Industrial Park. The average HQ index indicated that most of the healthy risks from industrial was low, except for Long Duc Industrial Park which has high HQ value. The average HQ index for children under 1 year old in Long Duc Industrial Park is 4.63 relatively high level. The results of the study provided essential information for improving wastewater treatment efficiency in industrial zones and implementing measures to prevent impacts on people's health.
