Abstract

In the trend of international integration and the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam's tourism human resources are facing great opportunities and challenges. The article analyzes the current situation of tourism human resources in Vietnam. In fact, the quantity and quality of tourism human resources from training institutions has increased in recent years. There are, however, still a large number of difficulties and limitations when the quality of tourism human resources has not met the practical requirements or there is the shortage of human resources due to the impact of the epidemic. Under the influence of the 4.0 technology revolution, the effects of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the requirements for the training and use of tourism human resources to adapt to the new situation, a number of solutions are recommended to create a breakthrough in training and exploiting tourism resources with the aim of contributing to turning the tourism industry into a spearhead economic sector and overcoming difficulties after the global pandemic.
