HUE VILLAGE IN THANH TINH'S SHORT STORY

Abstract

Each writer has their own creative space, and their work is imbued with the colors of that space. Thanh Tinh was born and raised in Hue. The nature and culture of Hue nurtured the writer's soul, then it left a bold mark in his literature. Coming to Thanh Tinh's poetic short stories, especially those composed before 1945, readers can immerse themselves in the countryside of Hue, both poetic and lyrical; imbued with the cultural identity of the spiritual masterpiece land. That village has both the characteristics of the land of the Perfume River and Ngu mountain, and the general image of the Vietnamese countryside.
