LANGUAGE VARIATIONS IN THE CONVERSATIONAL STYLE OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS (SURVEY AT NGO THOI NHIEM PRIVATE HIGH SCHOOL)

Abstract

Society is in the process of integration, along with the rapid development of information and communication technology, we can see that the Vietnamese language is also influenced and is in the process of changing. In particular, these changes are often seen in young people. In general, the change of the Vietnamese language is inevitable in the current context of globalization. It is important that we are aware of these changes in order to be able to understand language and the “linguistic variations” that arise in everyday life. Existing forms of "language variations" are used in the conversational style of high school students, mostly on social networks, specifically the characteristics of variation in terms of phonetics - writing, vocabulary, grammar and non-verbal language.
