GENRE INTERACTION AND TYPE INTERACTION IN LITERARY STUDIES

Abstract

The movement and development of the field of literary research deepens previous research directions and at the same time gives rise to new research directions. Currently, in Vietnam in particular and the world in general, the academic world has developed a direction to study literature in relation to genres and types of art. By combining the typological method in dividing literary genres and art forms, the systematic method in systematizing research issues on genre characteristics and type characteristics, and the comparative method. Comparing the identification of genre poetic characteristics and art form characteristics, the article presents some basic issues about genre interaction and type interaction in literary research; Thereby, contributing to the awareness of the organic relationship between literary genres as well as art forms, providing interesting suggestions for exploiting the aesthetic value of literary creation.
